This series of paintings on paper reveal presences from darkness. We are watched, we are fixed by these eyes bewildered, mocking or shouting in anger seeming to have escaped the packagings of the installation Consume Racial !
(Fond National d'Art Contemporain's collection) or the installation If your museum is dead try mine.
They say the specter of human emotions seeming to hesitate until the end between appearance, intangible and disappearance - some eyes are closed thus producing black monochromes. The whites of the eyes are that of unpainted wallpaper, the black circumscribed their intensity is therefore on the side of a submersion.
