Boclé ties to each other the 29 Asian and African flags represented at the Bandung Conference, the fiftieth anniversary of which was commemorated in Indonesia in 2015.
These flags take place in the space from the ceiling to the ground (variable number of flags), and inscribes “an escape” in the space . It was in 1955 for these countries to escape to a word shared between East and West, and the wars projected in the countries of the South.

Attachement aux quatre coins - Amarrar mundele convenes two rituals of Caribbean protection (Haitian Vaudoo and Cuban Palo Monte Mayombe) in memory of this vainced heterotopia - this attempt to escape was prevented during the Tricontinental in 1966 in Cuba: the Haitian Attachment to the four corners and the Cuban Amarrar mundele (to attach the enemy) “protect” the space of the ritual - space which is also a political space, a place of resistance - from external threats. The artist inscribes in the exhibition space these rituals by pouring at the four corners rum on the ground An act of care face to the dyspopia.
